Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Sports Accessories Buying & Merchandising team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Craft strategic product selections and procurement plans
  • Develop innovative merchandising strategies to drive sales growth
  • Analyze market trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Negotiate with suppliers and build strong relationships
  • Inform business decisions through data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with design teams on product development
  • Oversight of inventory levels and demand forecasting
  • Ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research
  • Lead and mentor the buying and merchandising team members
Key Qualifications:
  • NIFT graduate or postgraduate degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in the sports/activewear industry
  • A proven track record in accessories buying and merchandising
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and import supplier bases
  • Excellent analytical and trend-forecasting skills
  • Effective negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant buying/planning software
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
