We are seeking an experienced AS400 developer to join our team and contribute to the development of commercial applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 technologies, with experience in developing complex programs and troubleshooting issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:
  • Minimum 2-6 years of experience in AS400 development
  • Extensive knowledge of RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 technologies
  • Strong programming skills, including modular programming and service programs
  • Experience with effort estimation, unit testing, and code reviews
  • Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in an insurance domain (preferably life insurance)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, flexible, responsible, and a desire for quality

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Certifications in AS400 or related technologies
