Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and convert Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Collaborate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations
  • Update Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with confirmation dates
  • Communicate with plant teams on specific queries related to PO
  • Monitor supply/demand and decide on items for release to replenish stock
  • Implement exception messages in SAP, Oracle, and plant ERP systems
  • Liaise with suppliers for deliveries, maintain promise dates, and order confirmations
  • Collaborate with Global Stakeholders, including Category Managers, Production & Inventory Control Manager, and Value Stream Managers, for Material Availability
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management process with internal and external suppliers in collaboration with Supplier Performance Engineer (SPE) and Category leaders to improve supplier Request Date Service Level (RDSL)
  • Collaborate with finance for Supplier On-Time payment
  • Complete Material Master Set up and associated activities
  • Requisition to PO Conversion for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Items
  • Validate Supplier Lead Times based on delivery lead times
  • Coordinate Material Master Data Audits in the ERP
  • Communicate with Plant/Site Buyers on actions and resolutions
  • Support team in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual management reports for customers and suppliers
  • Raise supplier delivery issues to PIC Manager (Supply Chain Manager) and Planning team
  • Stay up-to-date on Parked/Blocked Invoice reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Negotiate with vendors to acquire the best cost and delivery requirements while supporting inventory turns

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain or related field
  • Knowledge in Strategic Sourcing methodology, Supply Chain Management, Contracting, Procurement, and Supplier Management skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
  • Excellent digital literacy and technical proficiency, including data gathering, interpretation, and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL)
  • Self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • Experience in Project Management and Project Management certification
  • Working hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM
