Unlocking Data Potential As a highly skilled AWS data engineer, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data migration, API ecosystem development, and data transformation using dbt.

About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished professional to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines on AWS. This involves leading end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain APIs for seamless data access and integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient data pipelines on AWS, utilizing services like Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • API Ecosystem Development: Develop robust APIs for data access and integration, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Data Migration: Lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Requirements: To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:
  1. Python Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, reusable code design, and Python-based data workflows.
  2. AWS Data Migration: Proven experience in cloud data migration, developing APIs, and working with AWS Big Data services.
  3. SQL Programming: Strong SQL skills for data querying, optimization, and transformation.
  4. Snowflake Experience: Hands-on experience in Snowflake data warehousing, schema design, and performance tuning.
  5. DBT Knowledge: Experience in data transformation and modeling using dbt.

Nice to Have: While not mandatory, having these skills will make you an even more attractive candidate:
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with GitLab or equivalent tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • BI Tooling and Data Analytics: Exposure to reporting and dashboarding tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
  • IaC Experience: Experience with Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
  • Linux and Networking Essentials: Strong command-line knowledge and understanding of networking fundamentals.
