  • Establish policies and guidelines for monitoring Treasury, Investment, ALM, and Liquidity risks, ensuring robust risk management practices.
  • Valuate Treasury portfolios, including Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and other assets, providing accurate and timely valuations.
  • Provide independent mid-office monitoring support on Non-Performing Loans, Fixed Income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, and other key risk areas.
  • Monitor hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis, ensuring optimal risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and calculate Capital Charge and Counterparty Risk Charge, accurately reflecting market risks.
  • Conduct technical analysis of Equities, Bonds, and Money Market funds, staying up-to-date with market trends.
  • Manage all types of limit monitoring related to Treasury activities, adhering to internal and regulatory policies.
  • Reconcile MTM (Mark-to-Market) values with counterparty banks for derivatives deals, facilitating efficient margin calls.
  • Prepare Regulatory and internal daily and periodical reports, delivering timely and accurate Board notes.
  • Enhance methodologies for Counterparty Credit Risk measures like PFE (Potential Future Exposure) and CVA (Credit Value Adjustment).
  • Regularly review new banking products related to Market risk, implementing risk mitigation controls.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Middle East banks.
  • Excellent knowledge of risk management principles, including Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and ALM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
