We are seeking an experienced Data Management Lead to drive our Research and Development efforts in Vellore, India.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in data management and lead the development and maintenance of data management related modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy data management and storage related modules that meet customers' needs for data governance principles and best practices.
  • Oversee data architecture and data integration processes across modules, ensuring data quality, performance, and optimal usage of storage technologies.
  • Enable real-time and batch ETL and ELT processes, leveraging big data technologies like Spark and Kafka, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Maintain secure data access controls, data masking, and encryption processes to protect customer data.
  • Establish and develop a central technical and business metadata layer using modern knowledge graph and AI-based technologies.
  • Lead a team of developers to deliver capabilities and features in a matrix environment.
  • Partner with product management to align with market and customer trends, and with QA to deliver industry standard software quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in data management, with at least 10 years in a similar role.
  • Proven experience leading teams and projects in data management, with expertise in big data technologies, SQL, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL and ELT tools and processes, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
  • Knowledge and experience of data quality concepts, metadata management, and data governance principles.
  • Good understanding of product lifecycle and roadmap planning, preferably in large product or services companies.
