Job Title:

  • Data Governance Consultant

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Governance Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing data governance solutions that drive business value and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Discovery and Classification: Develop and implement data discovery and classification strategies to identify sensitive data across the organization.

  • Policies and Procedures: Create and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data governance regulations.

  • Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on data governance best practices.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve data governance processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data privacy, and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.).

  • Experience working with structured data in RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and unstructured data sources (file servers, SharePoint, cloud repositories).

  • Proficiency in configuring BigID policies, classifiers, data flows, and discovery and classification operations modules.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
