Workday Finance Lead Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead the successful delivery of Workday Financials implementations and support engagements.

About the Role
  • Lead or support end-to-end implementations of Workday Financials for mid-sized to large enterprise clients.
  • Facilitate discovery and planning workshops, gather and document business requirements, and design scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Configure business processes, reports, and integrations in Workday Financials modules.
  • Perform rigorous testing and provide ongoing support throughout deployment.
Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Workday Financials and cross-functional knowledge across accounting, finance, and technology. They will work across all phases of the implementation lifecycle — from discovery and planning through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Project Delivery
  • Ensure quality and consistency in deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday Financials, offering strategic advice and best practices to clients.
Client Engagement
  • Interpret client needs, propose alternative solutions, and align system configuration with business objectives.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients through proactive communication and thought leadership.
Leadership & Mentorship
  • Guide junior team members by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing developmental feedback.
  • Share lessons learned, implementation insights, and product knowledge across teams and internal forums.
Internal Collaboration & Contribution
  • Participate in initiatives, training sessions, and domain-specific working groups to enhance capabilities.
  • Engage with the broader ecosystem, contributing to product discussions and community knowledge sharing.
Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with ERP/Financials implementations (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Minimum 4+ years of direct experience implementing Workday Financials.
  • Deep expertise in one or more Workday Financials modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into system configurations.

Remuneration: ₹800000 - ₹1200000 per annum
