Cloud Architect Position

  • We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
  • This role is critical in defining and executing cloud migration strategies, optimizing infrastructure performance, and ensuring compliance with security best practices across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Develop multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure robust cloud governance and security compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP – at least 2 of these at an expert level.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies, workload assessments, and re-architecting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in retail or e-commerce cloud deployments.
  • Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and monitoring solutions.
