Cybersecurity Researcher

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team and lead investigations into browser security threats. The successful candidate will focus on identifying emerging threats, creating proof-of-concept exploits, and contributing research insights that strengthen our browser security posture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a cybersecurity expert to take their skills to the next level and make a meaningful contribution to the field of browser security.

Responsibilities:
  • Threat Research: Conduct research in browser-focused security threats, including vulnerabilities, bugs, and advanced attack vectors targeting enterprise users.
  • Proof-of-Concept Development: Build, test, and deploy POCs to simulate real-world threats and highlight impact of discovered issues.
  • Technical Writing: Create high-quality technical write-ups, whitepapers, or research submissions for security conferences and publications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (including engineering, product, and marketing) to align research outcomes with company goals and public outreach.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity research, with a strong focus on browser, extensions, or client-side browser/user security.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and tooling, as well as good understanding of JavaScript and modern web technologies.
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required.
