Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled expert to lead the development of a metadata management system solution. This is an opportunity to leverage your experience in data governance, curation, and metadata management to drive business value.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create streamlined processes for metadata curation using custom scripts to upload available metadata to the API and gain insights into catalog content and user base through custom dashboards.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies, standards, practices, and technologies that align with business goals.
  • Establish connections between relevant schemas, define roles and responsibilities for data stewards, and ensure clear accountability for principal information assets.
  • Conduct assessments to discover the availability and completeness of metadata and develop onboarding processes for data domain teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Data Governance queries, including escalations for client concerns.
  • Collaborate with business owners and IT to resolve data integrity gaps.
  • Excel in agile environments with iterative approaches to development.
