Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Data Governance Strategist. In this position, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our data governance framework, ensuring its accuracy, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust data governance policies, standards, and procedures that guarantee data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain metadata management systems, data catalogs, and business glossaries.
  • Design and deploy effective data quality dashboards, alerts, and monitoring rules using cutting-edge tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Axon/EDC, Unity Catalog, DBT, BigQuery, and Databricks.
  • Foster a culture of data stewardship and ownership among stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability for data assets.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with data governance platforms, metadata management tools, and data quality solutions.
  • A deep understanding of data lifecycle policies, data stewardship principles, and metadata management best practices.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining data quality dashboards, alerts, and monitoring rules.
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
