Oracle Database Administrator Job Opportunity

As a leading provider of innovative SAP consulting solutions, we are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c) in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations, including platform and cross-version migrations.
  • Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools.
  • Automate administrative tasks and reporting using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination.
  • Ensure database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and cloud database strategy.
  • Lead database initiatives such as cloud adoption, consolidation, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical systems and assist in root cause analysis for database-related incidents.
