Database Specialist Role

The Database Practice Specialist will act as an expert in Oracle technology, focusing on database offerings and cloud infrastructure.

  • Lead workshops to identify business opportunities and technical blockers for Oracle workloads.
  • Support customers with product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and guidance on database modernization.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop migration strategies for Oracle workloads to Google Cloud.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Expertise in Oracle database, Oracle technology products, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of open-source databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, including Kubernetes Engine, storage, networking, and database services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle technology.
  • Lead discovery workshops for Oracle workloads.
  • Provide customer feedback to improve products.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Knowledge of Oracle database, Oracle technology products, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
