Snowflake Data Architect Position

This role is for a highly skilled expert who will design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake to meet regulatory and business needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.
  • Define and implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  • Create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases such as regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics.
  • Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development or similar cloud-native ETL tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial data models, exposure to BFSI regulations & compliance in data handling and reporting, and experience delivering analytics for fraud detection, credit risk scoring, AML/KYC.

As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions that drive business growth and success. With a strong background in Snowflake and related technologies, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex data pipelines, optimizing data governance and security, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
