Electrical Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

  • Job Description:
  • A talented and innovative electrical design engineer is required to develop, design, and implement control systems for hazardous environments. This role involves designing and documenting control panels, condition monitoring systems, and other related equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical panel design, preferably in the industrial or oil and gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Documentation:
  • Develop accurate technical bills of materials (BOM) and engineering drawings based on customer specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation ensuring clarity and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Analysis:
  • Study and interpret customer specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from concept through delivery, maintaining schedules and resource allocation.
  • Provide timely technical offers and proposals to customers balancing accuracy with responsiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in electrical panel design, preferably in industrial or oil and gas sectors.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of IEC 61439, UL, CE, IECEx, and ATEX standards.
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and safety protocols.
