Business Development Lead for Petrochemical Expansion

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development expert to spearhead the growth strategy for our petrochemical vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in M&A, deal-making, and strategic partnerships that drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue acquisition opportunities, particularly underperforming oil rigs in India and internationally.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets in coastal regions globally.
  • Leverage your network to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute deals smoothly and monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
  • A proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets or companies.
  • A deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations.
  • A strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
