About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned QA professional with expertise in test automation to drive software quality. Your task will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing efficient test scripts, performing manual and automated testing, executing tests, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create scalable, maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript.
  • Work with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Analyze software applications to identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.

Required Skills

  • 2 to 6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Certifications related to software testing and test automation.
