Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Specialist to lead our data management and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a complex, global manufacturing environment and a deep understanding of core enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of critical data assets across multiple domains, including customer, vendor, material, finance master data, and employee information.

This role will involve collaborating with business leaders to establish and run an Enterprise Data Governance function, implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, and developing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to internal standards and external regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in data management, data governance, or data architecture roles.
  • Experience in collaborating with business leaders to establish and run Enterprise Data Governance functions spanning multiple Master Data Domains.
  • Data Platforms: Expertise with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Integration: Experience with integration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Informatica) to connect source systems with data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of metadata and lineage tools (e.g., Atlan, Collibra).
