Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Oracle EBS Fusion Functional Consultant specializing in the Record to Report (RTR) cycle, particularly General Ledger (GL). The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion GL with hands-on experience in implementations, configurations, and end-to-end financial reporting processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure and support Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion GL modules.
  • Manage full lifecycle activities within the RTR cycle :
    • GL setup and configuration
    • Journal entries and approvals
    • Reconciliation and adjustments
    • Period closing activities
    • Financial and statutory reporting
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle functional solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for GL integration with AP, AR, FA, Projects, etc.
  • Draft functional specifications and support technical teams in design and development.
  • Conduct unit testing, defect resolution, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Participate in implementation, enhancement, and support projects across geographies.
  • Ensure compliance with localization, taxation, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Requirements
  • Proven functional experience in Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Financials (GL).
  • Expertise in the Record to Report (RTR) cycle and GL best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with financial configurations, setups, and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of sub-ledger integrations with GL.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in writing functional documents and managing project documentation.
  • Familiarity with localization, tax setups, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
