Senior Oracle Financial Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team as a Senior Oracle Financial Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle financial products, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

This is a highly visible role requiring hands-on experience with Oracle technologies, production support, and leading Root Cause Analysis efforts. The selected individual will troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to the continuous stability and enhancement of critical financial systems used by global banks, and participate in ITIL-aligned processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level technical support for Oracle financial products, including troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions to ensure high-quality solutions and prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and L1/L2 teams to resolve critical issues and enhance overall system reliability.
  • Maintain and contribute to documentation for known issues and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in L3 support for Oracle financial products or similar analytical tools in the banking domain.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and analytical functions.
  • Strong experience in data modeling concepts, debugging, and triaging technical issues.
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience managing Severity 1 incidents, production deployments, and patch support.
  • Familiarity with incident management tools such as ServiceNow and My Oracle Support (MOS).
