Senior Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our fast-paced, data-driven team in a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, data quality management, and data migration.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex data quality issues across multiple related tables.
- Write advanced SQL queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, temp tables, and nested queries.
- Perform schema-level fixes and implement rollback logic using tools like Phinx, Flyway, or Liquibase.
- Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate fixes, create data validation test cases, and ensure reproducibility.
- Document root cause analysis clearly and communicate solutions with stakeholders.
- Advanced SQL Development – Strong hands-on experience with complex joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
- Data Remediation Expertise – Proven ability to debug and fix production data issues.
- Database Migration & Rollback Experience – Familiarity with schema migrations and rollback tools (Phinx, Flyway, Liquibase).
- Data Validation & QA – Ability to design and execute validation steps to ensure accuracy.
