Senior Electrical Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Manager to lead our design efforts in electrical and mechanical disciplines.

About the Role:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with business objectives and innovation priorities.
  • Drive adoption of advanced design technologies, including automation, AI/ML, and digital twins, across all design functions.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, quality, and sustainability objectives through effective design governance.
  • Collaborate with R&D and executive leadership to guide product development and integrate new technologies.
  • Oversee design standardization and optimization efforts to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvements in design processes.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and technical specialists.
  • Serve as the primary interface for key internal and external stakeholders on all design matters.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of proven experience in electrical design, preferably in dry type or cast resin transformers.
  • Advanced knowledge of transformer design, power systems engineering, and digital design tools.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to connect design execution with business outcomes.
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills.
  • Change management and transformation leadership.
  • Innovation management and R&D collaboration.

Qualification & Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.
