Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as a strategic financial partner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transaction advisory, with expertise in accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive virtual CFO services, including budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow management, and investor communications.
  • Build financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses.
  • Support valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects, including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Offer tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.
  • Manage multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness, mentoring junior colleagues and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA with 4–6 years of experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Proven track record in client servicing and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Prior experience working with start-ups or within the start-up ecosystem is highly preferred.
