Job Description:

The role of the Investment Analyst revolves around thorough analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities. Key responsibilities include analyzing macro and microeconomic factors impacting target investments, preparing investment memos for presentation to the Investment Committee, engaging with external diligence agencies and lawyers to finalize due diligences and transaction documents, monitoring investee companies post-investment, implementing corrective steps to improve performance, and initiating recovery steps if required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of potential investment opportunities
  • Analysis of macro and microeconomic factors impacting the target
  • Preparation of investment memos to be presented to the Investment Committee
  • Engagement with external diligence agencies and lawyers to finalize due diligences and transaction documents
  • Post-investment monitoring of investee companies
  • Implementation of corrective steps to improve performance of investee companies, if required
  • Preparation of internal discussion memos for investment appraisal of investee companies
  • Initiation of recovery steps for realization of invested amount, if required
Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification. A minimum of 0-5 years of experience in debt investments/credit evaluation is preferred. Additionally, strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint, and working knowledge of various databases are essential.

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of financial statements
