Senior Automated Testing Specialist

Job Description:

• Oversee the coordination of multiple work-streams, ensuring seamless collaboration with data partners, integrated systems, and external vendors.
• Analyze data to verify results, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance test automation suites to meet speed-to-market goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Create automated tests to execute automatically in CI/CD pipelines, reducing cycle time and enhancing overall efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated tests and supporting artifacts to ensure successful execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Elevate risk and issue awareness to facilitate effective planning and communication with stakeholders.
• Embody a mindset that encourages hands-on and exploratory testing when necessary, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, document, and resolve defects through meticulous reporting and tracking, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain adherence to organizational Quality Engineering best practices while driving changes to testing practices where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A proven track record of 2+ years in successfully testing using automation tools and ensuring application quality.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough business requirements analysis, designing efficient test automation suites, and diligently logging and tracking defects throughout the testing process.
• Expertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Test Automation frameworks like UI/Path, Selenium, and expertise in various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, or gray-box testing.
• A solid understanding of software testing concepts, including test planning, test case design, and defect tracking, is essential.
• Knowledge of different testing methodologies, such as black-box, white-box, or gray-box testing, is also important.
• Proficiency in using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and understanding how to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and execute them as part of the software development process.
• Proficient in Software development lifecycles, agile delivery methods, and DevOps, with a strong foundation in MEAN Stack, Cloud Native Technologies, Kafka, UNIX Scripting.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, and experience with SQL and database/backend testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with at least 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, healthcare domain knowledge, and proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
