Senior Test Automation Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our team.

  • This is a challenging opportunity to develop and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks for Cloud Applications, Mobile and Embedded Solutions. You will be working closely with our upstream team to design and build the complete test automation framework, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing modular test automation frameworks that cover end-to-end testing, using tools such as Selenium, Appium Driver, JMeter, and TestComplete. Strong working knowledge of SQL, Mongo Database, Windows, Android, and Linux operating systems is also required. Experience with Cloud Technologies, Monitoring & Bamboo is highly valued.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality test automation solutions, and contribute to the development of best practices in test automation. This role requires excellent coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should have a strong understanding of Agile Development methodologies and be able to work effectively in a diverse global team environment.

Please note that experience in the Retail/Ecommerce sector is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks for Cloud Applications, Mobile and Embedded Solutions.
  • Collaborate with upstream teams to design and build the complete test automation framework.
  • Design and develop simulations to improve automation coverage.
  • Troubleshoot framework issues and upgrade the framework based on technological updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies, including AI extensions, and deploy them in test automation.
  • Derive key metrics and publish them at defined management oversight levels.
  • Mentor manual testers on automation skill development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 15+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing modular test automation frameworks that cover end-to-end testing.
  • Excellent coding skills, particularly in Python, C#, Java, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Mongo Database, Windows, Android, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies, Monitoring & Bamboo is highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
  • Work experience with Agile Development methodologies and diverse global teams.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in the Retail/Ecommerce sector.
