Procurement Excellence Manager

This senior leadership role oversees and optimizes the end-to-end Procure to Pay (P2P) process, driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with global procurement policies and regulations.

You will design and implement standardized P2P procedures, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and maximize cost savings.

Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing the global P2P strategy, defining goals, metrics, and KPIs, providing strategic guidance, and leading initiatives to standardize and optimize P2P processes.

In addition, you will ensure compliance with global procurement policies and regulatory requirements, implement controls and safeguards to mitigate procurement risks, and conduct regular audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive P2P strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and priorities.
  • Define measurable goals, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the P2P process.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to P2P teams to ensure consistency and alignment with global standards.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and optimize P2P processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and integration of P2P systems and tools to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to global procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement effective controls and safeguards to mitigate procurement risks, including fraud, corruption, and compliance breaches.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, operations, and IT, to align P2P processes with organizational objectives and requirements.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on P2P policies, procedures, and systems to ensure understanding and adherence.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain P2P performance dashboards and reports to track key metrics, trends, and performance against targets.
  • Analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and performance improvement.
  • Presentation findings and recommendations to senior management to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance or related field. 12-15 years experience in procurement, P2P, or supply chain management roles. Proven leadership experience, ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Proficiency in P2P systems and tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar platforms. Prior experience in MS D365 is a plus.
