Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage high traffic internet applications, with a focus on e-commerce domain experience.
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure using Linux, K8s, AWS, and programming languages such as Java, Python, and Golang.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating tasks, troubleshooting issues, and improving system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new features.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in most of the following areas: Linux, K8s, AWS, Programming (Java/Python/Golang) and scripting knowledge.
  • Linux fundamentals, including good understanding of various Linux kernel subsystems (memory, storage, network etc.) and package management.
  • Fundamentals of DNS, Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, HA Load balancing concepts.
  • Application Stacks: LAMP, Openresty/Nginx/HAproxy/ATS, Kubernetes (Must have), Docker.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: OpenStack, Edge Cache: Redis and Aerospike.
  • Databases: SQL/RDBMS, MySQL/NDB, MongoDB, Cassandra.
  • Configuration management: Ansible /Chef/Puppet.
  • Tools/Utilities: Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti, Ganglia, Kickstart/Cobbler, Mcollective, Yum, RPM, GIT/SVN.
  • Scripting/Programming: Extensive work done on two or more of these scripting/programming languages - Bash/PERL/Ruby/Python/PHP.
  • Others: Regular expressions, excellent troubleshooting skills.
