Job Title: Java Fullstack Expert

About the Role:

Fiserv is seeking a skilled professional with in-depth and hands-on experience in full-stack Java, cloud, web, and mobile technologies. This includes a working knowledge of Domain Driven Designs, Event Based Architecture, API, and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate will be required to work in a cross-functional environment, defining and building end-to-end solutions. Relevant digital solutions experience in the payment solutions domain will be highly regarded.

  • This role requires you to demonstrate working knowledge across a broad range of application and engineering patterns;
  • Have a very strong history of working closely with internal and external stakeholders, articulating detailed designs and code;
  • You will lead and oversee the application development across the full project lifecycle, ensuring the end product meets high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gathering functional designs and creating technical specifications;
  2. Managing development inventory and overseeing the testing process until deployment;
  3. Collaborating with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues;
  4. Mentoring and driving teams of 20+ professionals;
  5. Demonstrated experience in agile/scrum and waterfall life cycle application development;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 12 years of related IT experience, designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications;
  • Working experience of wide-ranging distributed and cloud technologies, including integration and configuration: e.g. Cloud workloads, Containerisation, Linux, Java/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, Angular JS, React, Mobile and Application Middleware, ESB, Datapower XML/JSON, SOA, and API management, distributed relational and noSQL databases Postgres/Yugabyte, along with tradition Oracle/MySQL/DB2, PhoneGap/IOS/Android SDKs;
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as rules, AI, and Machine Learning, applying them to support business needs;
  • Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools, methodologies, and all functional areas in an IT organization.

What We're Looking For:

  • Any working experience with other payment solutions, including mainframe environments, would be advantageous;
