Automation Selenium Framework Developer Job Description

This position involves designing and developing robust automated testing frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and related technologies. We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing test automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, or Python.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java and/or Python, experience with API automation testing tools, and understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Git.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is highly valued, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to lead efforts in improving test automation processes and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, hybrid).
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
