The Quality Assurance Specialist is a vital team member, accountable for ensuring the quality of our solutions built on Google Cloud Platform.

Main Tasks:

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports to verify solution quality
  • Validate data at various levels: schema validation, completeness, integrity, and freshness validation
  • Collaborate extensively with GCP services, especially BigQuery, for data verification
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to efficiently test large datasets
  • Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), BigQuery, and SQL
  • Analyze GCP cloud logs and design dashboards to track performance
  • Identify, log, and track defects, providing regular progress updates
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure effective defect management
