Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing scalable software platforms using Java, Ruby, or Python.

  • The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in computer science and distributed systems design and development, with at least 4 years of experience working on large-scale projects.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills are essential, as well as experience working with container-based solutions and a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Elastic Search, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS is highly desirable.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 8-12 years of experience working with Python, Ruby, and/or J2EE technology or equivalent OO paradigm.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elastic Search, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS.
  • Experience working with container-based solutions and a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
