Key Requirements for Senior Tester Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tester with extensive experience in test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and be well-versed in testing methodologies.

  • Expertise in creating test cases, executing tests, and collaborating with developers
  • Manual testing experience of 5+ years
  • Experience in testing RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD tools, and cloud-based applications
  • Strong understanding of key skills including SQL, troubleshooting abilities, and Nodes/JavaScript experience or other relevant languages
  • Extensive experience in API testing with a focus on continuous improvement and automation

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases/suites as well as analyze results
  • Experienced in defect resolution and defect burn down across all related parties
  • Remove blocking issues to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs are being met
  • Manage and prioritize functional and technical backlogs and defect burn downs effectively
  • Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces
