Job Title: Retail Leadership Position

This is an opportunity to lead the School of Retail Management by providing strategic direction and fostering academic excellence.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative, industry-relevant programs that align with global retail trends.
  • They will strengthen industry linkages to facilitate internships, live projects, placements, and faculty-industry immersion.
  • The position requires a visionary leader who can build and lead academic teams.
  • A strong background in retail innovation, omni-channel strategies, customer experience design, and retail analytics is essential.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills are required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Management (Retail/Marketing), Business Administration, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 15 years of academic/industry experience in Retail Management or allied areas.
  • At least 7 years in senior academic leadership roles such as Director, Dean, or Head of Department.
  • Proven track record in strategic academic planning, institution building, and curriculum development.
  • Strong research credentials with publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience in guiding doctoral scholars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the School of Retail Management by providing strategic direction and fostering academic excellence.
  • Develop and implement innovative, industry-relevant programs that align with global retail trends.
  • Strengthen industry linkages to facilitate internships, live projects, placements, and faculty-industry immersion.
  • Promote faculty development, high-impact research, and international collaborations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and support the university's quality assurance initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in pedagogy and digital learning, and mentor faculty and students.
