Environmental Compliance Professional

A challenging role awaits an accomplished Environmental Compliance Manager who can drive environmental performance across multiple sites, R&D facilities, and office locations. This position is responsible for developing and documenting annual environmental training and communication plans, ensuring follow-up and support delivery, and effectively tracking the status of operational HSE processes/procedures to maintain ongoing compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and drive sustainable practices across all internal manufacturing sites, R&D facilities, and office locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document annual environmental training and communication plans, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and support delivery.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, and water conservation efforts.
- Identify and mitigate environmental risks through proactive monitoring and reporting of inspections, audits, and conformance reviews.
- Provide technical expertise to support development of environmental policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing environmental compliance programs in a multi-site environment, including experience with regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners to achieve shared goals.
- MBA or advanced degree in engineering, technology, geology, or a related field, with 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting or operational roles, with expertise in environmental policy, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
