About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Audit Leader who's battle-hardened, technically astute, and can run audits from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Execution: Lead audits independently from planning through final reporting including management discussions.
  • Talent Management: Handle multiple teams & their team members under various leads; responsible for staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Compliance & Technical Expertise: Ensure alignment with financial standards (Ind AS, IGAAP) and auditing guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Client Relations: Own client relationships; act as the single point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Risk-Based Auditing: Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, SEBI regulations, CARO, IFC, CSR compliance).
  • Tech-Savviness: Leverage audit tools, checklists, and digital documentation systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Independent Professional: Must have a proven track record of closing audits independently without supervision.
  • Team Leader: Experience managing multiple teams and team members simultaneously.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of financial standards (Ind AS, IGAAP), auditing guidelines, and financial statement preparation & review.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Deadline-Oriented: High accountability, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong articulation for presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
