Job Title: Senior Officer - Product Compliance

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Risk & Compliance team as a Senior Officer - Product Compliance. This role involves ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory requirements, internal standards, and policies related to product compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global and local regulations, with experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for product compliance. They will also possess excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Implement, and Maintain Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain product compliance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with global and local regulations.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Assess and manage business risks related to product compliance, including those arising from acquisitions, partnerships, or product development.
  • Internal Advisor: Act as an internal advisor to increase awareness and ensure understanding of compliance obligations across departments.
  • Compliance Documentation: Prepare compliance documentation, regulatory reports, certifications, and maintain accurate filing of compliance records.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on remediation plans and ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
  • Project Lead/Member: Lead or contribute to projects involving regulatory changes, product certifications, and process improvements.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with local and regional regulatory authorities as required, ensuring effective communication and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/masters' degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or risk management role-preferably in manufacturing, electronics, or product-driven industries.
