Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at NxtWave. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with parents and students, conducting demo sessions, and driving enrollment in the NIAT program. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, strong consultative selling skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in tech careers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct demo sessions for parents and students, showcasing the benefits of NxtWave's NIAT product and how it prepares students for high-paying tech roles.

  2. Engage with parents and students to understand their aspirations and needs, guiding them toward making informed decisions about enrolling in NIAT.

  3. Manage the sales funnel effectively, from lead nurturing to enrollment closure, and monitor and optimize the different stages of the funnel to ensure maximum conversion rates.

  4. Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets by converting demo session attendees into program participants.

  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families, ensuring a positive experience from the demo session to enrollment.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the education or ed-tech sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to guide stakeholders toward making decisions.
  • Fluency in English, along with proficiency in Tamil.
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving high conversion rates.
