Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that align with business and technology goals.

This role will involve leading the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of cloud-native and hybrid solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of core AWS services, expertise in network design, security architecture, and identity management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and migrating on-prem workloads to AWS using tools like AWS Migration Hub or Snowball. They will also design and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and cost-optimized infrastructure.

Additionally, they will collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM), security groups, encryption, and monitoring (CloudTrail, GuardDuty). They will also define infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years on AWS
  • Strong understanding of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS
  • Expertise in network design, security architecture, and identity management
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, GitOps, and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with application modernization, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategy
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads, data lakes, or edge computing on AWS
