Bioinformatics Data Curation Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for bioinformatics and data curation? We are seeking an experienced Scientist to join our team in this exciting role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field, with expertise in analysis of large-scale transcriptomics data. They will be responsible for conducting searches in public genomic databases, distinguishing different functional genomics technologies, and validating datasets for accuracy and consistency.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with genomics data, has excellent coding skills, and can provide meticulous attention to detail.

  • We require a Ph.D graduate in computational biology, bioinformatics, single-cell biology, genomics, immunology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong technical focus and knowledge of genomics, molecular biology, and technologies such as qPCR and next-generation sequencing are essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analysis of large-scale transcriptomics data (especially scRNA-seq) and experience identifying outliers for gene expression and splicing from RNA-seq data are necessary.
  • Experience working with relevant genomic databases and browsers and their annotations, as well as proficiency in Git operations, are also required.
