Skill Sets Required:

  • Hands-on experience with 12c, 19c, and above versions of Oracle.
  • Cross-platform upgrade experience (Linux, UNIX, Windows).
  • Management of RAC databases (installation, support, troubleshooting).
  • DR/Active DataGuard replication management (installation, support, troubleshooting).
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and ability to write new scripts or update existing ones.
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting techniques, especially performance-related issues, and ability to analyze explain plans and AWRs.
  • Refresh of non-prod environments using RMAN and data pump tools.
  • Review of daily DB health check reports, alerts, and audit breaches to proactively identify and resolve defects and apply security hardening.
  • Experience with OEM Configuration across multiple databases.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and data migration from/to EC2 and RDS AWS instances.

Skill Sets Required (Good-To-Have):

  • Management of Goldengate replication (installation, support, troubleshooting).
  • Ability to reproduce production issues related to performance, RAC, and Goldengate on non-prod environments and test solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server for daily tasks.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Creation of detailed technical documents.
  • Sharing knowledge and conveying technical details during discussions.
  • On-call support and availability for early morning application deployments.
  • Management of Oracle databases on RDS.
  • Understanding of PL/SQL codes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. B.Tech Computer Science/MCA graduates preferred. Oracle Certified Professionals (OCP) certification preferred.
