A skilled CAD Designer is needed to lead the design of plastic and sheet metal parts.

  • Evaluate developed concepts using Design for Manufacturing & Assembly techniques (DFMA) to ensure efficient production.
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine the impact of changes on other components and assemblies through geometric studies within subsystems.
  • Analyze complex tolerance requirements and validate designs using CAD tools as needed.
  • Create or update parts in master assemblies based on project demands.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards according to ASME Y14.5/ISO 1101.
  • Maintain compliance with ASME Y14.5/ISO CAD drafting standards for engineering drawings.
  • Adhere to CAD data management policies and design change processes utilizing Windchill.
  • Develop and review requirements to produce comprehensive CAD models of components and subsystems in products.
  • Identify and resolve potential problems in CAD design and coordinate changes to meet project objectives.
  • Plan and organize multiple tasks within complex projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
