Job Overview:

A seasoned developer plays a vital role in designing, developing and implementing custom applications on the Appian platform. They create scalable and high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and improve overall efficiency and productivity by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.

  • Developing and testing complex Appian applications and solutions
  • Creating process models, business rules, forms and integration interfaces using Appian
  • Collaborating with business analysts to understand requirements and design Appian solutions
  • Implementing best practices for Appian development and ensuring adherence to coding standards
  • Conducting code reviews and performance optimization to enhance application performance
  • Designing and integrating Appian plug-ins with external databases and systems
  • Configuring Appian sites and managing user interfaces for seamless user experience
  • Supporting system integration and performing troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Documenting technical designs, test cases and user guides for Appian applications
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior members of the development team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing Appian applications and solutions
  • Expertise in SAIL, Appian Records and Appian sites development
  • Strong understanding of business process management and workflow automation
  • Proficiency in designing complex process models and integrating third-party systems
  • Familiarity with Appian architecture and best practices for application design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and working in collaborative team environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
