System Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a System Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a System Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for driving SRE/DevOps mindset and culture in a fast-paced environment.

  • You will work with the latest tools and technologies to drive forward automation, observability, and CI/CD automation.
  • Improving implemented solutions and understanding collaboration efficacy is key.
  • As a member of this team, you will inspire and leverage your experience to inject new knowledge and skills into an already high-performing team.
  • You will help identify areas of improvement, especially when it comes to observability, proactiveness, automation, and toil management.
  • A strategic approach with clear objectives to improve system availability, performance optimization, and incident MTTR is essential.
  • Maintaining reliable engineering systems using SRE and DevSecOps models with a special focus on event management, self-healing, and reliability testing is critical.
  • You will have strong programming skills with experience in API and webhook development using Dynatrace, GitHub workflows, Ansible, CDK, Type/JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and Shell Scripting languages.
  • A strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS) and SDLC and DevSecOps is required.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Ansible, or equivalent is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of Lambda, Glue, and CDK is also required.
  • You will have knowledge of cloud services: application integration, functions, cloud databases, data warehouse, analytics, machine learning, developer tools, security, and identity management.
  • A strong understanding of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience is essential.
  • You must have knowledge of required programming languages and be able to code with minimum guidance.
  • Understanding functional aspects and technical behavior of the system is crucial.
