Cloud Infrastructure Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in the management, operation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform to define and provision our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
  • Automate configuration management using Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of manual errors.
  • Monitor and optimize performance using DataDog to identify and resolve issues before they impact our users.
  • Collaborate across teams with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of our applications.
  • Innovate and improve continuously by exploring and implementing new tools and practices to enhance our DevOps processes and improve overall system reliability and performance.

You will be working on a variety of projects that involve designing, building, and deploying cloud-based systems and services. You will need to have a good understanding of cloud principles and services, experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure, and a solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of cloud principles and services.
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.
  • The ability to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) efficiently using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with using Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation.
  • The ability to effectively monitor and optimize system performance using DataDog or other visibility platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • A collaborative mindset and effective communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Cloud Platform tools and practices.
