Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Scientist to join our Applied Data Science Team. Our mission is to advance the next-generation Machine Learning applications, surpassing the State-Of-The-Art in complex geographies.

As a Senior Data Scientist/TL, you will be responsible for envisioning solutions to real-world business use-cases with low latency/high throughput. You will work closely with product owners, applied data scientists, MLOps, geospatial experts, and platform engineers to define proper output Data Science metrics and calibrate them to desired business metrics.

You will own time-bound, End-to-End solutioning of large-scale ML applications, ranging from resource requirements gathering, data collection, cleaning, and annotation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, etc. You will also clearly communicate findings verbally and in writing to stakeholders of varied backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with experience working in industry (2-6 years) on projects from proof-of-concept to deployment and monitoring. Additionally, they will have a proven track record of relevant experience in computer vision, NLP, learning theory, optimization, ML+Systems, foundational models, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical background in CS, EE, EC, Remote Sensing, or related field
  • Experience working in industry (2-6 years)
  • Proven track record of relevant experience in computer vision, NLP, learning theory, optimization, ML+Systems, foundational models, etc.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch) in terms of training large, optimized, scalable, ML models
