Database Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled ETL/Database Tester to join our team with 5+ years of experience in testing, monitoring, and improving data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes and databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using languages such as Python or Java.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of log files and job outputs to identify errors and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely status updates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, database testing, and manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS, including MySQL and Oracle SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS services (CloudWatch, EventBridge, QuickSight, etc.).
  • Experience with automation tools, such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and UNIX commands (grep, awk, find).

Desirable Skills:

  • AWS services: CloudWatch, EventBridge, QuickSight, Batch Jobs, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Glue.
  • CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
  • Experience automating data testing using AI/ML tools.
