About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our data team. This individual will take responsibility for managing our master dataset, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the creation, updates, and deletion of master data.
  • Maintain user access control and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data and collaborate with QA analysts as needed.
  • Commission and decommission datasets while ensuring data integrity.
  • Process sensitive information according to established guidelines.
  • Contribute to report development and analysis.
  • Design and maintain the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support data warehouse initiatives for reporting requirements and data normalization.
  • Evaluate new software and technologies, providing strategic input on system upgrades.
  • Generate comprehensive reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and resolve report issues.
  • Analyze changes and updates to source production systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing tools and databases to provide software solution recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate business requirements into clear, lay terms.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale database management methodologies and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large datasets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
