The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality of software for our optical metrology systems. This includes performing various types of testing, such as integration testing for hardware/software systems, system interface testing, functional testing for software services/modules, regression and benchmarking testing for system performance.

This position covers the end-to-end metrology solution workflow, from operating optical metrology tools to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions. The SQA Engineer will collaborate closely with product, hardware, software, application, characterization teams to design SQA testing strategies and plans based on product requirements, system specifications and technical design documents.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or a related discipline, and passion for quality and taking ownership. They should possess critical problem solving and strong analytical skills, with proven work experience in software quality assurance. A strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools and processes is essential, as well as hands-on experience with automated testing tools and solid knowledge in scripting.

Preferred education and experience include prior experience working in semiconductor front-end processes, Thin Film and OCD metrology technologies, optical spectroscopies and material characterization. Knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas: numerical analysis, machine learning, software development, ISTQB Certification is also desirable.

As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, and provide guidance on best practices for software development and testing.
